Futuristic capsule cabins nestled in 73 acres of working land. Aquaponic gardens, heritage animals, and starlit nights — all within reach of Roanoke.
Our closed-loop aquaponic greenhouse produces tilapia, bass, catfish, and perch alongside lettuce, herbs, tomatoes, and peppers — year-round, chemical-free. Guests harvest their own dinner the same day they eat it.
Tour the greenhouse every morning at 8am. Feed the fish, harvest your breakfast greens, and take a crate of fresh produce back to your capsule kitchen.
Our aquaponic system mimics nature's own nutrient cycle. Fish produce waste, bacteria convert it to plant food, plants clean the water — and the cycle repeats endlessly with no chemicals, no soil, and minimal water loss.
Submersible pump in the fish tank pushes water up through the biofiltration unit 24/7.
Beneficial bacteria convert fish ammonia into nitrites, then nitrates — the exact nutrients plants crave.
Nutrient-rich water floods the media bed. Plant roots absorb nitrates, filtering the water naturally.
Clean, oxygenated water drains by gravity back to the fish tank. The cycle repeats every 30–60 min.
Aquaponics isn't just lettuce. Our system supports 30+ plant varieties across leafy greens, fruiting vegetables, herbs, and root crops — all without a single gram of synthetic fertiliser.
Our animals are heritage breeds raised with care on pasture. Feed the goats, collect eggs at sunrise, hand-brush the horses, and meet our bunny families. Every guest gets a farm orientation on arrival.
Every stay comes with access to daily farm activities, guided tours, and the kind of slow time you can't buy in a city hotel.
Collect eggs with the chickens, milk the goats, harvest herbs from the aquaponic beds. Coffee included. Starts at 7am daily — optional but addictive.

Coming Soon"Stayed in the Midnight Capsule for three nights. Woke up to goats wandering past the glass door, harvested lettuce for breakfast from the greenhouse, and watched the Milky Way from the deck. Nothing else like it anywhere near Roanoke."
"My kids had never fed a goat or held a bunny. Now they talk about Orbital Fields every week. The capsule felt like a spaceship — warm wood inside, pitch black outside, stars everywhere. We're booking again for fall."
"The aquaponics workshop alone was worth the trip. Left with a full notebook and a crate of fresh tomatoes. The capsule was immaculate — glass walls, real bed, real shower. Feels premium without trying too hard."
We're putting the finishing touches on the capsules and farm. Leave your email and you'll be the first to know when bookings go live.
