Futuristic capsule vessels on a working aquaponic farm. Off-grid. Smart-home equipped. Set in the Virginia hills — where technology meets the earth.
Our capsule suites are modeled on the Lunar Estate E7 — an aluminium alloy vessel with panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass, intelligent smart-home systems, and a design reminiscent of a spaceship. Each one placed deliberately in the Virginia landscape.
Our closed-loop aquaponic system produces fresh greens, herbs, and vegetables year-round — zero pesticides, zero soil, zero waste. Guests can tour the system and harvest their own breakfast.
Chickens, goats, horses, and bunnies roam the 73-acre property. Morning egg collection, goat feeding, and horseback field rides are part of the experience — no extra booking required.
Far from city lights, Glade Hill sits in one of Virginia's darkest sky zones. Each vessel includes a telescope. The Midnight Capsule Suite faces directly upward with a full glass roof panel — fall asleep under the Milky Way.
Solar, well water, rainwater collection, and composting systems run the property. Guests get fast WiFi and smart home controls — but they'll barely need it. The land does the resetting.
Guests can request a curated harvest basket — fresh greens, herbs, and eggs picked the same morning. Cook in the vessel's full kitchen or join a guided farm-to-table dinner in the main barn.
Each capsule cluster has its own fire pit area. Wood is stocked and ready. No check-in time, no curfew — just the crackling fire, the Milky Way above, and the sounds of a working Virginia farm at night.
Orbital Fields is designed for people who need to fully decompress. No schedule, no programming — just land, light, air, and animals. Some guests do nothing. That's the whole point.
Each Orbital Fields suite is built around the Lunar Estate E7 — a fluorocarbon aluminium alloy vessel with panoramic glass walls, an intelligent smart-home control system, and a rooftop viewing terrace. Installs in 2 hours. No terrain restrictions.
A closed-loop aquaponic ecosystem where fish waste feeds hydroponic plants, and the plants filter the water back for the fish. Nothing wasted. Everything alive.
Roaming free across 73 acres of Franklin County. No agenda, no performance — they just live here. You get to be part of that for a few days.
We don't build itineraries. We build an environment where the right experiences just happen — morning coffee with goats, late-night fire under the stars, fresh-pulled herbs for dinner.
Start before the world wakes up. Walk the aquaponic greenhouse, collect eggs, watch the horses come in from the far field. Self-guided, no schedule.

On request"I came for a weekend and felt my whole nervous system reset. The vessel is like nothing I've stayed in — woke up to mist over the goat pasture through that full glass wall. Insane."
"Hands down the coolest place we've ever stayed. The smart home controls in the vessel, the aquaponics tour in the morning, goat feeding at 4pm. We extended our stay by two days."
"The Midnight Capsule is for real. Fell asleep watching stars through the glass ceiling. Woke up to fresh eggs from the chickens 40 feet away. It's the future of farm stays."
